  • 4 oz dark chocolate (70%), chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, plus more for dusting
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla ice cream to serve
  • Butter and cocoa powder for ramekins

  • Preheat oven to 425u00b0F. Butter 2 ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  • Whisk eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar together until pale and slightly thickened.
  • Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
  • Sift in flour and salt. Fold until just combined u2014 don't overmix.
  • Divide batter evenly between ramekins.
  • Bake 12 minutes u2014 edges should be set but center should still jiggle.
  • Rest 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream.
